Owned and operated by brother's Joey and Manny Trupiano, Joe's Pizza has been in business in Effingham since December of 1999. A family owned small chain in downstate Illinois, they have not only some of the best pizza in the area but a fine selection of Italian favorites, various Alfredos, Manicotti, Spagetti, Ravioli, just to name a few. Their entrees are all priced under $10 and for smaller appetites entrees can be ordered as 1/2 orders. Not to mention their wide variety of salads and hot sandwiches. A personal favorite of mine is the Italian Beef, which is difficult to find this far south of the Chicago area!! The brothers are big local boosters, involved in many local charities, and always remember me when I get back to my hometown for a visit. They even made a special order of Italian Beef for me to bring back to South Dakota with me! Great food, great value, great folks!! less
