I used to go to Joes years ago and enjoyed it. My husband took me to Sanford the other day (it's about 30 miles from us) for a special dinner. We don't eat out often, so it was a special treat. What the heck happened to that place? Oh my gosh! It Was awful from appetizer to entree. When we asked the young waitress what she recommended she said, "I have no idea, I don't eat seafood or meat". The fish dip (I usually love everbody's fish dip) was much more than disapointing. It was a runny mess of white paste that I suppose was cream cheese without any sign of seafood. My crabcakes were obviously frozen and microwaved and mushy in the center. The worse was the fake steak my husband tryed to eat. It was a gray piece of thawed meat with fake grill marks on top. He also recieved 4 pieces of frozen vegatables and 7 cold french fries. They most pathetic part of the experience is when the staff made a build up of the "show" they were about to have. It was so sad. Four your female waitresses marched out clapping an for an entire song, made the "roll them" motion from the baby's patty cake song. They even did this in a jerking motion and kept watchhing each other to try to figure out what to do. It would have been funny if it wasn't so embarresing. We paid our $45.00 bill for this discusting meal and went home and ate a TV dinner....it definetly tasted better. less

Average seafood restaurant, but the quality is relatively good at time and the wide selection makes up for the lack of outstanding quality. Great for a quick meal on the run or to satisfy your seafood cravings, but otherwise there are plenty of better options. Service is somewhat below average and prices are reasonable. less

I ate lunch here after a recent trip to Seminole Towne Square. I had eaten here once before a couple of years back, and as I recall the food was pretty decent. This time around, things got off to a bumpy start. I had to wait too long in their entrance area just to be seated, and they weren't even crowded. The hostess walked by me twice ignoring me both times. I was preparing to high tail it out of there when the manager walked in from outside, and told the hostess to seat me. He actually had to tell her twice. Once seated, everything drastically improved. Becca was my server and she did a great job. I ordered their Coconut Shrimp as the main entree and the Lobster Bisque as an appetizer. Both were delicious. In fact, the Lobster Bisque was the best seafood type chowder I've had in a long while. Over all, I had a very enjoyable lunch. Even though things got off to a rocky start, the service and quality of food more than made up for it. Consequently, I give this place a four star rating. less
