First went to this place in 1970!! Then moved back to the south suburbs and discovered it again through friends. The steaks were enormous, and the potatoes almost as large. I had the pork chops that I thought was a pork roast. They were so tender and very tasteful. The salad was a refreshing bowls of mixed greens that was cold like salad should be. The drinks were good, and the service was even better, even though it was a rough night for the wait staff. Would highly recommend this road house for great steak and overall a very fine meal. less

If you are looking for an intimate evening (it is located in a forest preserve), Jack Gibbons Gardens is a great Chicago style steak house without having to drive into Chicago. less
