The prices were high and food wasn't very good either. My pork loin was so over-cooked I had to send it back. They kindly refunded my $$ though. I won't be returning for dinner though. I have stopped here many times and have always wondered what the fuss is all about. I have always been disappointed and given them the benefit of the doubt. The last time was last Sunday. I stopped with my bus group of quilting ladies on our way back from a large quilt show in Chicago. The place was busy, we had a reservation and knew we would be in the back dining room. They didn't have enough places set up. They served us family style and the portions were so small. It was a bother to get them refilled. It seemed like quite a hassle in all and the food was cold, plain and not very much. And to top it off, they overcharged me. I don't think I will darken their doorstep again. Everything tastes SO freash, wonderful cottage and coleslaw before the meal leading into large well-rounded entrees and nearly irrestible deserts. No matter what is order, pleasure is sure to follow.
