I think they must be paying attention to customer comments, because they have definitely improved their service. This is still one of the best places to get a meal 24 hours a day. You can have anything from sandwiches to meatloaf to pancakes, and anything in between. Once thing that I have always enjoyed about IHOP is how they leave a pot of coffee on your table so you don't have to keep asking for refills. Way to go IHOP! less

I set this restaurant up and forgot to put my name on it, so I'm writing another short review to make it more legit. We were in Galveston recently taking a cruise from there and had one morning when we needed to eat breakfast. The IHOP was a short distance from our hotel, so we went over there. It is a very large IHOP, and even so, the wait on a Sunday morning was about 20 - 25 minutes. The service was good, but the food was less than adequate. I eat at IHOPS occasionally, thinking that they do serve a good breakfast, but this one was not very good and I would not recommend it. less
