what a damn shame....this place is as of nov 99, up for sale, and who knows what will happen. They had excellent bar food, stuffed portabellas, catfish, great burgers, wonderful soups and gumbos, and best of all, GREAT beer brewed on the premises. As far as I hear, they are STILL SERVING great beer but may have closed the kitchen. Try the weiss beer. Also of interest, there was a bluegrass band playing there every tuesday or wednesday that was very good. Of further note, one of the best bartenders in the city, Paul. less
