DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT!! My FIRST and LAST order from Hong Kong Chinese! They forgot my drinks.. No big deal, I called and mentioned it- supposedly they were going to bring them. 30 minutes passed, we were done with dinner so I called to ask them to please credit my card. I was told no problem. 5 minutes later I get a call from them accusing me of lying about the stupid drinks! They said the driver was sure he gave them to me and that I was lying and they would not credit me the money! Come on why would I lie about 2 cokes???? I should have just ran to 7-11 and grabbed then there. So my advice- there are plenty of restuaruants in LA who want your business and who would NEVER think of calling the customer and accuse them of lying.. Try another restuarant- Hong Kong Chinese is not worth it, they do not value you as a customer!! less

One dish that is on it is bula maka-skewered strips of lean beef, marinated in Hoisin sauce, which you cook over an open flame at your table. Absolutely yummy! Besides the regular Chinese fare, the soups are really delicious: egg drop, wonton, sweet and pungent, sizzling rice, etc. The daily specials are truly special, both in price and excellence of flavor. less
