I can't get enough sushi, and this place hit the spot. Wasnt exactly

Their sashimi and rolls are fabulous. Thy have fresh and succulent
recipis on fish. I recomend this place.

Sadly, Higashi West is no more. As a replacement, I recommend
Naomi Sushi in Menlo Park. It's more traditional, but Iwa-san
is a fabulous chef. If anything, they have a better selection
of sake.

Higashi West is serves large pieces of reasonably good nigiri.
If you want authentic Japanese environment, go elsewhere. If
you are open to trying it out as is, it is worth a look.

This is not a Japanese restaurant, but a feeble attempt at fusion
cuisine, and it is expensive.
Favored by non-Asian friends, perhaps because the ingredients
are of good quality, but the balance is way off, and the prices
are too high.

so large! There is no real Japanese restaurant that will allow
