Harbor Lights is my kind of place. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is a historic Tacoma restaurant that I adore. It's a seafood shack with a great dining room view of the water. The wiatstaff seem like they have all worked there since before JFK was president and it shows-they are very experienced. The big bucket of clams is wonderful and most of the seafood I have had has been spot on. This is a traditional seafood restaurant-you won't find any cilantro or shitaake mushrooms here, but have a Manhattan, some cracked crab, and pretend it's 1950. You'll have a great time. less

Parking can be hard to find, but in the summer you can park away and walk to the place as it is off a walkway that boarders the road and the waterway.
