Buddy's Italian Beef sandwiches and fries are the best thing to happen on the west coast! But you have to try the Italian Beef, dipped. This was a new experience for me and I loved it! They dip the whole sandwich in auJous. Yes, it's messy, but it rocks! Or if you want, ask for auJous on the side so you can dip it bite by bite. This is NOT a place to go if you are watching what you eat, unless you ENJOY what you eat! The atmosphere in his place is decorated with old and new memoribilia from Chicago and his excellent wood carvings. This is not an "eat and run" kind of place. Buddy and his employees are very cool and always smiling! So if you are looking for a memorable experience and a great place to eat, head over to Gumbah's and order "Italian Beef, dipped, with sweet(or hot, if you are brave), an order of fries and a drink".
