Julie, makes you feel very welcomed when you go in to either get a cup on he run or to sit in and enjoy everything. Seems all the folks that come in are from all walks of life and talk about friendly. I have met some pretty nice people at Grounds For Coffee on 25th Street. I have tried a variety of booth hot and cold bev. I like them all, Julie and the rest of the staff aim to please. less

A charming establishment that caters to the local art crowd and those who want to take in that other serious sinful liquid in Utah, known as coffee. I've often wondered when coffee will receive a sin tax like alcohol and beer. I can see the new bureaucratic organization, the UDCAB (the Utah Division of Coffee and Beans). For those less inclined to sin and don't mind having the appearance of evil, try tasting their hot chocolate or Italian Chillers. One beef is the "pastries", which I know for a fact are nothing more than frozen dough thrown on a pan and heated up in the morning and the taste is as you might imagine. Hell, at least they use small, medium and large to mean small, medium and large -- none of this "grande" small corporate malarkey. less
