I agree with the first review. I have been up to skokie and these
bagels aren't even close to the kind found in the jewish restaurants.
They are edible, but not good like the chewy kind.

They make a very fluffy, cakey bagel. Not at all what I thought
was traditional. They are almost like a muffin in a circle. I prefer
the chewy kind with the tougher outside. I think they make the
bagels fresh and some of the flavors are good, ...
