This restaurant is great because you can get the "American Chinese" food or you can get the "Authentic Chinese" food. The produce and poultry are superb in quality and I recommend everyone to go there and try. You won't regret it! :) less

The Golden Palace Restaurant in Watertown Connecticut is the best Chinese Resaurant I have ever been to. If your not looking for fresh chinese food and excellent service go elsewhere. Chinese food does not get better then this. Spare Ribs melt in your mouth.Seafood tastes like it was just off the boat. The vegetables where as if the restaurant had a garden in the back and just picked them.One night I walked in and it was packed with people. The waiters treat you as if you were the only custumer in the retaurant and the food comes out just as fresh. Once you experience fine chinese dining at the Golden Palace you wont go anywhere else. The Golden Palace Restaurant in Watertown, CT has been open to the public for 20 years. It is a wonderful establishment; great food, drink and people. The owners are upbeat and provide the best client service. The chefs are talented and can make any dish you inquire about even if its not on the menu! My favorite dishes are Sha Cha Chicken (tangy and spicy) or the famous General Tso Chicken. You can dine in or takeout (no delivery though). Its gets very busy on the weekends so make sure you call ahead of time for a reservation. Complements to the owners and the chefs! I give you 5 stars out of 5 stars! less
