There's one reason and one reason only to go to Friendly's... The ice cream. Nowhere is that more evident than at this particular Friendly's. The hot food is really hit or miss. Stay away from the burgers, the meat tends to be on the gray side. The newer menu items the chain is always introducing tend to be the way to go if you want food first. Service can be terrible, especially if they're busy. You can also be seated and wait 20 minutes before anyone realizes that's their station. When it is busy, there are always screaming children around, as this is a family place. Little League season is the worst when it comes to screaming kids. Not to mention, in that neighborhood, parents don't tend to teach their children "in public" manners, as they don't seem to have any either. As I said, we all go there for the ice cream and no real other reason. less
