In response to Mcnulty's review, I totally disagree with your comments. I live in this Firbidden City Restaurant neigborhood. I pick up orders from this place at least twice a week. Yes, you may not see the crowd a lot, but this place does a lot of to-go orders. For so many times that when I placed an order, I was always told that 30to40 minutes waiting time, and when I got there, there were always people waiting for their order. I had once order fried Calamarie and it was good. I don't eat a lot of beef so I can't tell much here. But try their Emperor's chicken, gee they are so so good. My divorced wife lives in Folsom, and she said she can't find one single good Chinses restaurant there, and she dines here with her new guy, that's hurt but I like to see her there, thanks Forbidden City. She said Chinese Restaurnats in Folsom are bad, especailly the new Fat by the freeway, so over priced and so bad, "I don't know why people like to go there paying high price for the decors only" she said. People, take my words, Mcnulty is so stereotyped already, you don't need a Chinese person to serve you at a Chinese restaurant, you don't judge a reataurant by seeing if it is crowed (such as Fat's they are always crowded but foods suck). So knowing his standard, trust me. less

The service was good, the waitress although she wasn't chinese was very helpful. The place is quite small, and is hard to notice. I ordered the sizzling beef and szechuan calamarie. The calarmarie was terrible, it was hard to chew. And you don't want to eat food that is hard to chew. The beef was below my expectations. I wouldn't eat here again. Try "Rice Express" it's in Folsom. Good everything. Sorry to this place. less

Pot stickers are home made. It's a killer.You'll be addicted to their Emperor's Chicken watch out. My wife needs to have this dish at least once a week or she can't carry on with her life.
Price? Very reasonable. Nice music too. Try it you won't regret folks. But don't make too popular otherwise I'll have to wait longer for service for the rest of my visits. less
