This place is defunct. Closed a long time ago.

It was pretty good but not exceptional. Ate there with the family
once, several years ago. I like almost all Middle Eastern food
but I, nor my family, was not inspired to return.

On Nov 1st this place changed to an Italian Restaurant.
The meal we had was average to good (grilled salmon, rissotto).
The staff were very attentive (first night). The bread and
dipping were very good. But of course the question is how many

The decor and overall atmosphere were very good for a restaurant
in downtown Redwood City. The staff were friendly and attentive.
The entrees were very good, but flavor was somewhat overpowered
by the taste of the abundant tomato sauce. The Turkish ...

Excellent food and very friendly service:
The meat is delicate, and the appetizers were excellent. Even

Turkey is far, far away. The food seems to be drowning in
fat at this place. If I hadn't been sure I had ordered
a guvec, I wouldn't have recognized what they served me
as such. The lentil soup wasn't any better, unfortunately.
The atmosphere of down ...

If you want to know what restaurant food tastes like in Turkey all
you have to do is visit EPHESUS. I lived in Turkey for a year and vividly
remember how wonderful the food was from the masters of the
Ottoman Empire. The balance of spices (spice t ...

Inspired by the prior reviews, we went to the Ephesus and really
enjoyed it. I had the mixed grill platter, so I could try one of
everything and it was all very good. The lamb chop was extraordinary;
it was lean, sweet and had that melt-in-your-mou ...
