I have to have an "Elmer's Fix" at least every other
week...and I try to make it once a week!
If you like "naked ribs, " (smoked without bbq sauce...you
can add your own at the table) you will LOVE the flavor of Elmer' ...

This place is a real "tweener".
The BBQ is superb. The service is, well, leisurely, at best.
Make you dining plans accordingly.

We bad! And thats good. Elmers is worth the trip for ribs or brisket.
Often busy at lunch. This is a cultural treasure.

Food is good. Cooked the true BBQ way. Service is indeed SLLLOOOWWWWW.
Even when it is dead in there it is slow. But the food is worth some
sort of wait.

How do I rate a place where the food is wonderful but the service
is attrocious???!!!
