Definitely do not go here if you don't like seafood, because they have only a few, maybe one, non-seafood dish (chicken penne pasta) and it is not very good. Their seafood is great and their desserts are the best. I got the chocolate souffle and my boyfriend got the berry dessert that was the special of the day. We got AWFUL service (we were there for over two hours and we had reservations) but they gave us our desserts for free and were very apologetic. Somewhat overpriced. less

I went for lunch and got the crab cobb salad, It was highly recommended by the waiter. The description was great, three kinds of crab, asparagus, avacado, eggs, bacon, tomatoes etc. It was about 15.00. I expected it to be amazing. I was so disappointed. You could barely find the crab, the asparagus was chopped up in tiny pieces and I had to hunt for them too. The presentation was terrible, The portion size was ridiculously small. I expressed my dissatisfaction to waiter who could have cared less. I will never go back. less

Stretching along most of the south side of Pier 56, Elliott's features outstanding views and an outstanding lineup of oysters in what is probably Seattle's biggest bivalve bar, which measures a full 21 feet. An especially extensive selection of white wines provides appropriate accompaniment for the subtle variations in flavor among the more than 30 varieties from which you can choose. There's even a weekday oyster happy hour in the gleaming teak and copper bar. Elliott's takes full advantage of its prime waterfront location, with huge windows and slanted skylights that drench diners with abundant natural light, while the booths just across the aisle are raised by about a foot to share in the vistas. In good weather, outside tables offer one of the city's truly superior al fresco dining experiences. Not surprisingly, the menu features seafood, with a special emphasis on Dungeness crab and other Northwest marine bounty. Steaks, chicken and fettuccine are also available. Consider starting your meal with one of the chowders, which feature diminutive neck clams and full-bodied cream. less

Lots of good fish, and shrimp and other shelled stuff is very good. Had a few nice bottles of wine on the list, and you can find one in your price range. Desserts are a bit ordinary, but the seafood is the reason to go. Bar is competent, as well. Nice selection of Scotch and other liquors. less
