Large menu, and tasty Mexican food! Seating is "seat yourself", which I enjoy. The atmosphere could be described as "Mexican diner": dress code is casual, and it seems to be family-friendly. This place also has a small bar area for those who fly solo or do the "barfly" thing. Prices are cheap/very reasonable, portions are huge (dieters beware!), and atmosphere is festive and bright. This is a place to indulge! Regarding the service: it is hit or miss. Servers will sometimes "disappear" and not be observed/able to be flagged down for a while. But it's a great place to bring a bunch of friends and hang out/talk/drink/eat. Everyone I've brought to "El Tap" raves about the food. Even their desserts are delish. Highly recommended for a casual, fun night out with solid Mexican cuisine. less
