Oh yea! It looks unanimous, this is the best Mexican on the Coast. Locals know that the staff changes frequently (for possible reasons we can't discuss), but luckily that doesn't change the kitchen or the service. I don't like the fact that it has become so popular now that sometimes there's a wait for dinner, but don't let that deter you, it's worth the wait to feel satisified. Watch out for the 16oz marguerita. Wow! less

Ok...first off, the avg.price is probably a little Higher than 5-10, but NOT MUCH. Being from Southern California (originally) I KNOW Mexican food, and El Saltillo is one of only TWO restaraunts in the entire state of Mississippi that I would consider authentic. After speaking with the owner I found out that all entrees that include beef can have "shredded" or "ground" seasond beef. This is for those of us who enjoy REAL Mexican food. Lunch at El Saltillo is the BEST VALUE on the Gulf Coast. There is not one entree that I didn't like, and in fact eat there about 2 days per week. IF YOU LIKE MEXICAN FOOD....El Saltillo is the place, PERIOD. less
