This appears to be one of the more upscale eateries in Winthrop, a faux-Western town but not cloyingly so. The food was about right for the price (although what the deal with the giant carrot slices was is beyond me). My fish was excellent, but my wife's chicken was rather dry. It's about right for the price...would I eat here again? Maybe. less

I have had a number of memorable nights at the Duck Brand, although that may have been more a reflection of good company and a few cocktails beforehand than anything else. It's my favorite place to have dinner in Winthrop. The food is what I would term "Northwest Mexican" with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and whole foods. It's not a challeging menu and it's not cheap, but I've never heard of anyone who didn't like their meal. Their desserts are special if you still have room. Expect to wait in the summer months especially for a table outside on the patio. less
