In my opinion, this is the best Mexican resturant in town. No Tex-Mex here; they cook with green chiles, New Mexico style. My favorite dish is the Chilies Rellenos, but it's all good. I could make a meal out of just their chips and salsa. If you think you can handle it, try their Volcano chili -- it's delicious, but not for the faint of heart. Mild or wild, this is the place. My husband and I came to Colorado from California. We've really missed the kind of Mexican food we got there. Dos Hombres comes the closest to that kind of food of any of the places we have visited so far. The service is warm and friendly. The servers remember us and what we want. We are both on diets and are cutting back on fats, so we request entrees made with chicken and no cheese. There has never been any problem getting this and it's good! We use the great salsa instead. We like the hot. less

We eat out here often. We even know the wait staff by name. It is a very family friendly environment. I have yet to find better margaritas...and free chips and salsa. Don't forget the MILD green sauce!!! YUMMY! The price is great for the quant ... more
