Deleece has consitently produced some of the most interesting well prepared food in Chicago since it opened. I have been a semi regular visitor since day one. The Seafood and fish specials are always worth watching out for. I had the best Halibut I have ever eaten. The signature angel hair pasta is a reliable and delicious treat. The place has only become better as it ages. less

Very nice, varied menu. Not the standard haute-Euro fare. For the very particular, it could be said that there aren't any 'basic' dishes, but it did not detract for me or my party. The atmosphere is very open, and can be exceedingly loud. Not what I would call intimate or a cozy romantic place. Service was attentive - the hostess was swamped and seemed to be feeling it. They passed the 'water test' (water glasses were not empty for an unreasonable time). The food was well presented and very fresh, excellent seasonings and well balanced. less

Fantastic food that is hard to categorize. Menu is heavy with pastas from around the world, but includes many other dishes. Food has always been superb with interesting seasonings. Sunday brunch menu is a new twist on traditional dishes. Atmosphere is simple, open and -- on weekend evenings -- loud. Very reasonable prices ($10-15 dinners, $5-10 brunch). To avoid the crowd and ensure great attention, go on a weeknight or a late Sunday brunch. less
