We stopped in on the suggestion of friends that we had to try this place. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent, and creative. The waitstaff was friendly, inviting, and made us feel very relaxed. And while it was expensive, it is a great place to go as a treat if you have the money. less

I'm left wondering why this place has such a good reputation. Our initial impression was sullied by the haughtiness of the owner, Claudio. The ensuing disorganization and mediocre service did little to improve our experience. The setting and décor were pretentious. (Del Raye aspires to be some sort of chic New York-style restaurant. Sorry, Claudio, you're not ready for prime time in The Big Apple.) The food itself was not bad but hardly worth the exorbitant prices. Avoid this place at all cost; spend your money elsewhere! less
