Denizens of Italian cuisine return again and again for Damian's traditional, yet innovative, dishes. For a treat, reserve the Chef's Table, a private room off the kitchen, where two to eight people can enjoy a six-course dinner, prepared especially by the chef. I found everything about this place excellent except for the need to valet park because of the construction going on outside. The bread was wonderful and the cheesecake for dessert outstanding. The cappuccino at the end of the meal hit the spot. ... more

This won't be the cheapest place you've gone to. Basic pasta starts out at $12-13 and entrees are over $20.00...but everything seems better than average. I had the spaghetti carbonera which had a perfect cream sauce and just the right amount of spices and additions.
The service was attentive but not overbearing and the atmosphere was moderately quiet. A perfect 'can't make a mistake with this one' Italian restaurant to take a client to, or for a casual but upscale date.
