The best pizza in So. Cal. I usually like my pizza with everything on it but at Chi Chi's their cheese pizza stands in a class of its own. Once I had my first Chi Chi's Pizza, I was forever ruined, I could never eat regular delivery pizza again. I'd rather drive to pick it up if we are going to eat pizza at home than order a lesser pizza of convenience. However, at the Northridge store they have a pull up and wait service so you don't have to get out of the car, someone will bring your pizza out to you in minutes. They also have incredible fresh made pasta dishes. Nothing is held over to the next day. They make all their dough and sauces fresh each day. I am kind of fussy when it comes to resturants because I enjoy cooking myself but on those days when cooking isn't in the cards, Chi Chi's is an excellent choice. We have 3 small children and they love Chi Chi's too. The resturant is very family oriented. less

This is about the best italian restaurant in the area. Chi-Chis is a chain of restaurants with other restaurants on Bouquet Canyon Road in Valencia, Santa Clarita, and elsewhere. They also own Lido's Restaurant on Victory Blvd and Sepulveda Blvd in Van Nuys. Lido's has an identical menu and pricing.
The Northridge location is one of the larger restaurants. Upscale, but casual. Small full bar in the waiting area.
Service and food are outstanding at any of the locations. You get the feeling that the staff enjoys working there, and that they all like each other. At the Northridge location, the Legendary former Chi-Chi's waitress Gila has her working apron - bedecked with all sorts of buttons - sealed in a glass frame case and mounted on the wall. Much as they might display the football jersey of some retired, legendary football player.
Well, Gila was a terrific waitress, but the staff at Chi-Chi's and Lido's are all exceptionally fine. Gina, Candi, and any of the waiters or waitresses are all terrific.
At Chi-Chi's, you will fell like leaving them a really good tip -- and you will also still have the money in your pocket to do so. This place is affordable.
Really good pizzas at this place. Unusually, they put the cheese on last, and use freshly ground cheese. The pizza crust is excellent, whether ordered thin or thick (double crust).
Italian Style Roast Beef Sandwiches run about $4.95. They are served on an oven-toasted, sesame seed bakery roll, and they do not skimp on the meat. It is not a true Chicago Style Italian Beef, but it is still a very good sandwich and it is as reasonably close to Chicago Style Italian Beef as you get west of the Mississippi River.
All you can eat pasta specials are extremely good. You can get them with soup or salad, plus a drink for about $8.00 Choice of pastas, including rotini (springs), spaghetti, linguine, rigatoni, shells, and a choice of meatless, marinara or meat sauce. Affordable and extremely good.
Chi-Chi's and Lido's also have the nice touch of having a curbside service that will deliver take out orders to you in the parking lot. Very nice touch for people on the go.
Good parking at the Northridge location, but it is shared with other stores & restaurants in the complex.
Chi-Chi's is terrific. I've been going to the many Chi-Chi's restaurants since 1970. This is a jewel, and you are going to enjoy yourself, whether you are doing power business lunches, grabbing a quick bite or having dinner with the family.
Highest Recommendation. less
