The margaritas are inexpensive yet tasty, and the carne seca (sun-dried beef) shouldn't be missed. Lighter eaters will enjoy a layered topopo salad made with tortillas, refried beans, chicken, lettuce, celery, avocado, tomato, and jalapeños. The food is good, and the service efficient. less

There is something special about "family" restaurants, and the house of the Molinas is no different. They just seem to try harder. The recipes are probably from Grandma, and some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever tasted. I'm from Albuquerque, so I love our "New Mexican"-style food...but when in Tucson, this is my home away from home restaurant when the craving for salsa kicks in! Muy bien! Recommend the combination plate, beef enchiladas, or chicken enchiladas. Add a cold beer, and the realtively small check, and you'll leave very contented. Nice people too! less

The cheese crisp is huge. I usally get a combo which has a taco, two chimi's, green chiles w/ cheese, mexican rice, & beans oh I can't forget the tortilla. Their strawberry daquiri is good.I'm sure the margarita's are good also. less
