We were warned about this place but I wouldn't listen. I read several online reviews that attested to its awfulness, but no...it can't be that bad. Then our hotel manager said, "Oh, no, NOT Capt. George's!!! - You're kidding, right?" And he said that none of the locals ever go there. But we had paid high prices in advance that was NON-REFUNDABLE (no wonder) in order to see the "Haunted Dinner Theatre" there (or whatever it is called.) We were starved (which famine makes tar taste good) and we just couldn't enjoy swallowing a bite of it. We managed to get down a little, but we sure didn't stuff even though it was a buffet. The restaurant was so crowded you had to wait in long lines to get "food" (?) that didn't taste good. And the show, well, it was corny, but would have been just fine if the food had been good. All in all, I can just say that we will NEVER go there again. We can laugh about it now, though. So, if you want something to look back on and laugh about, go ahead...but consider yourself warned...."I'd go back if I were YOU...." less
