I had heard great things about this restaurant only to be disappointed once I finally went there. The food was o.k., I got a sampler of different dishes but was not impressed by any of them. The pasta was overcooked and the food was warm, not hot. The real highlight of the visit though was hearing the manager yell at the busboy for breaking a plate for a good couple of minutes. All in all, the only positive thing I took away from my visit was their Sweet Sicilian Dressing, man that stuff is good. All in all I haven't been back, I'd rather visit Italian restaurants elsewhere. less

The Venice Inn is a long established restaurant with a reputation for good portions of good, solid cuisine...you can count on the Venice Inn to insure that you do not leave the establishment hungry. It is conveniently located near the Nebraska Furniture Mart, Crossroads Mall, and other retail establishments...would be a great place for out of town shoppers to go for quality, reasonably priced food. From my perspective, I dont care much for salad bars or cramped seating...both of which are part of the Venice Inn experience. Overall, a good restaurant, reasonable prices, centrally located, and good parking. less
