Love, Love, Love this restaurant. This is where I bring my out of town guests to make them fall in love with our city. Without question, the best salad ever - you have to get their house dressing (hot honey bacon)! The croissants, drizzled with honey butter, will melt in your mouth. Try the prime rib. It comes with a horseradish dipping sauce and au jus. An excellent cut of meat! less

I visited California Dreaming Rest.. in Charleston, SC and the manager Nicole Lewarchick was very enthusiastic about taking care of a bad situation on my wifes' order for dinner. She ordered two fried shrimp platters and we got chicken tenders after a lengthy wait. The way she handled things were very professional and I will definately return when I am in Charleston, SC.. I would love to see your company come to Jacksonville, NC or Wilmington, NC.. less

To start with, the old Columbia Railway Station has been lavishly restored with dark panels highlighting the light brickwork. The dark grained bar sits prominently above the remainder of the restaurant and offers a great view of the restaurant. If you're only in the mood for a quick bite, the club sandwich is filling and tasty. For you meat eaters, the prime rib was excellent. (Make sure the server brings you enough au jus!). Finish it all off with friends and you have the makings of a fine evening. less

California Dreaming has a slightly unusual take on the chain restaurant. The menu is a lot more varied and interesting than you'd find at standbys such as Applebees or Ruby Tuesdays. I love the building. The service is good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice. This is a good bet for a leisurely dinner or a date. Overall, this restaurant is good and worth stopping by for a meal. It can be crowded, so plan ahead. less
