This was our first visit to the Buckhorn and we fully intend on making it a permanent part of our dining out rotation. I had the broasted chicken, which was tasty with the perfect blend of crunch and juciness and flavor. My wife had the Orange Roughy, which was a seafood blend which she says outside of seafood specialty restaurants, was the best sea food dish she's ever had. You get two sides with each entree, and the sides are good but nothing to write home about really. Just typical restaurant fare that was good (I had steak fries which were just a touch under done for my liking but still good, and my wife had mashed potatoes and skillet apples, both of which she enjoyed). Our server Matthew was friendly, and helpful, steering my wife away from a dish which he said was not one of their more popular dishes to the Orange Roughy, and my wife couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. The restaurant itself is on the small side, and I would guess it gets pretty loud when busy, but we had no problems with this (we went around 4:30 on a wednesday) when we were there. They offer a wide range of alcoholic beverages if that's what you're in the mood for, and their lunch menu (11am - 4pm) had a large variety for really good prices. It's slightly out of the way, but the quality of the food is well worth the trip. Can't wait to try the ribs. less
