If your idea of fine dining is nice china, expensive linens and a snooty wait staff, this is not the place for you. But if you've come looking for some of the best seafood you'll ever taste, look no further. I come back here every year when I see family during the holidays. Its a must-do meal. Oysters are served any way you want them, the fish is always fresh (who orders chicken at an Oyster Bar?), and the service always come with a smile. I grew up on the Gulf Coast and have eaten seafood all over the country. I found that price doesn't matter, this one stands out. Here come the holidays, so here I come again. less

This is what "early Florida" looked like. When in this area of Florida, Boss Oyster is a MUST. Located on the water and on the docks where fresh fish, oyster, shrimp are unloaded, it is truly an "oyster house". Don't expect candlelight and violins but do expect great waterside atmosphere, dining in a room that is protected fromthe weather by a plastic curtain. Service is as you would expect but the food's great and the beer is cold. <br> The Oyster Stew is wonderful. I counted 16 oyster in the bowl. It is probably the best we've ever had. All the fish, shrimp, oyster dishes are excellent. less
