The Pulled Pork is exactly what it sounds like. It’s tender, slow-cooked, smoked pork that literally falls apart into shreds. They toss it in Blake’s BBQ sauce and serve it up in a lump. It has a little too much BBQ sauce for me. I’m more of a smoked meat person who uses the sauce on the side to add as needed. Otherwise, the pork tasted pretty good. Thumbs up! Blake’s Big Pulled Pork Pile is slow smoked pork, pulled and served on their big bun with BBQ sauce, cole slaw, and red onion. You’ll definitely need extra napkins for this sandwich! Again, a little too much BBQ sauce for me, but my family loved this sandwich! The sweet, BBQ sauced smoky pork complemented the cool, creamy cole slaw. The bun was soft yet held this pork beast together. Thumbs up! If you’re feeling a bit of Man vs. Food hunger, they also offer the Blake’s One Pounder Bomber or “THE BEAST” (two and a half pounds of food, YIKES!) Sandy’s Bread Pudding is a huge portion with a side of vanilla sauce to slather on. It was a very dense and custardy bread pudding. It had a bit more raisins in it than expected. The vanilla sauce was creamy and gave it a down-home comfy goodness. Thumbs up! less

I went to Blake's Place for the first time today. BBQ "experts" would probably scoff at the "authenticity" of Blake's, but for Orange County it is a good REASONABLY PRICED sandwich/platter/salad restaurant with cramped but adequate seating. From reviews on other sites, the baby back ribs are apparently a standout item. I had a sandwich sampler (1 beef, 1 pork, 1 turkey) which was very good. If you're near the 91 and 57 interchange, try Blake's. less

In my unregarded opinion this resturant was and is the by far best in bejing. I have never eaten such great lengua in my life. I highly doubt anyone else has either. My business partners and i went here for brunch and were served the best ice crea ... more

Jim is wrong...twice...he seems to do that a lot...I doubt he has ever been here or over half of the other places he has reviewed...I've eaten here (business lunch while visiting Boeing). It is indeed in the industrial area so lunch pickings ... more

It is indeed in the industrial area so lunch pickings are thin...but this place is good Bar-b-que...there is always a crowd at lunch, with most appearing to be regulars...that's how you know you are at a good restaurant...I've had ribs and pulled brisket here..both very good...the rest is standard fare (beans, potato salad, soup, etc) but for this part of town, you can't go wrong here. I have awarded 4 stars. 3 1/2 for the Bar-B-Que, and another 1/2 for the great outdoor patio dining (when weather permits). less
