Benihana is definetly one of my favorite places to eat. The restaurant for one, is conveniently located near many major highways. It is also across the street from Menlo Park Mall, which gives you the options of shopping before you come in and enjoy this Japanese Steakhouse. The decor is Japanese and looks very clean. The food is excellent. The best part is the chef, which cooks the food in front of you. The chef's are normally very amusing and they also provide a few cooking tricks. The food tastes very fresh, and you know it hasn't been sitting since it's prepared in front of you. They also sell Sushi for all those that indulge. The only thing that keeps it from 5 stars is it's a little pricey. But if you keep the drinks to a minimum, this is definetly the place to go and enjoy a good meal. less

After a full day of shopping at the Menlo Park Mall next door, this is a definite stop for dinner! Not only is it conveniently next door to the mall and neighboring shopping centers, but it is near the Parkway so that you can easily get on your way back home after a Japanese treat! The menu is easy and typical teppanyaki, however the entertainment that follows from your chef is worth it. Try the chicken, filet mignon combo for a real treat. If meat isn't your thing, than why not try the tempura vegetable platter for a nice delight. You won't be dissapointed! less
