I haven't been there recently but some years ago I went there after a wake..lunch wasn't bad but when I asked if the banana pudding was homemade..the waitress said yes..so I got it..when I was served this dish..I could tell that it was poured out of a can with some sliced bananas in it..yuck..and more yuck..last time I ever went.. less

The highlight of this restaurant is, without a doubt, their superb Sunday brunch. My husband and I went probably every other Sunday to heap our plates with lovely and perfectly cooked basics (don't let the word fool you - they were excellent)such as eggs, biscuits, bacon, smoked sausage, etc. plus all sorts of deligtful not so basics, such as roast beef, chicken in a wine-mushroom sauce, potatoes, scrumptious broccoli recipes, cobblers and tons of fresh fruits. We sometimes went and ordered from the regular menu and the prices were always reasonable and the food consistently good. Of mention are their different versions of eggs benedict and their oyster po-boys. The restaurant itself has a fantastic, Caribbean flavored atmosphere and the staff, including the visible chefs, are just wonderful! less
