I am a native of Ste. Genevieve and this place is the best to go to
for our style of food. You have to try the liver dumplings.

It's a toss-up between this and The Old Brick House as my all-time
favorite places to eat when I tour the homes in Ste. Gen.
This place is full of atmosphere and charm, with the air seeming
to tingle with history.

We had lunch there and ordered a hamburger and onion rings. Both
were very good. The onion rings were excellent--crispy, I like
crispy. We look forward to another order.
