Al's is a landmark in the Burlington area. This is a great place
to go for fries, burgers, shakes and guilt. The fries at Al's are
legendary.

If not featured in every Roadside Eats book and Food Channel Americana
segment, then it should be.

Clean yet grungy.

I agree with Diane! I haven't been back in VT for a couple of
years, but when I do go, I always visit Al's before leaving!
Great fries! I love the fries!!! I wish there was an Al's
where I'm living now!

Very greasy fries. Not crispy. I don't know why they are known
for "great" fries. I had their chili dog. Mediocre at best. Price
is reasonable for what you are getting.

worst fries on the planet, if you bill yourself as a fry joint,
you should offer nice fries, they are only one variety, and greasy
at that. the sandwiches aren't worth eating.
