There's more to dining in Houston than just barbeque and chicken-fried steak (not that you can't get plenty of both, mind you). The Bayou City has some great restaurants, featuring cuisine from all over the world. Let me share some of them with you!

Happily, you won't find any frozen French Fries or soybean meatballs swimming in an unrecognizable sauce at Dimassi's. It's authentic Mideastern, but not so exotic that you won't find something on that steam table you'll enjoy. I love that "hey, this is really good" look folks(who would never on their own set foot in a place like Dimassi's)get after they've eaten here! less

This place could be described as either a trattoria or an Italian bar; either way, it's a nice place to go for a light meal, coffee, dessert or a mixed drink after work (the grilled Panini Tuscani is especiallly good).
