The food isn't bad, and it's cheap. You just have to be particular about what you order, and not be afraid to ask for something different than what's on the menu. The atmosphere is very informal, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick.

You can sit in the window and people watch, read a book, or study. I highly recommend their chocolate dip donuts. They are the best in the world. less

Grinders is the place to go for good subs. This particular Grinders has very fast service, a great location, a large seating area with a patio, and the world's best peanut butter cookies. The potato chips are outstanding as well.

Hickory has the best pizza in Springfield. It is very informal, has a small eating area, but the service is friendly and fast. You will get a lot of food for you money.

Derr Road Inn	Springfield, OH
Situated in a beautiful setting, this restaurant one of the few places for a quiet, romantic meal in town. The food is good, but not great, and the atmosphere is very nice. This is a good place to go on a date or for a romantic evening.
