NEVER.....EVER.....AGAIN. EVER. I left about 45 minutes ago, came
straight home to write this review. And BEG people not to go there. Please
know now, that I was a faithful customer... and have come to THIS.
Nevermind that they take forever to come on a regular day (not talking
about the weekends here)...the service is mediocre to ok at best, depending
on the server. Today takes the cake... I decided to try something, and
it was disgusting. There are very few things I will say are gross, but
this was bland and funny tasting...
I tell the server at the end that after ONE small bite, it wasn't
appealing. The manager comes over and asks what's wrong with it.
I say I'm not making a big deal, but it was not good. Walks away--I
get my bill. A Normal, GOOD restaurant would have tried in some way to
compensate, or even take the $2.00 item off.... they take the item away
and proceed to charge me for something....server told me the manager
told me to go to the front of the store to HIM cuz he's not gonna do
anything about it...
Have you ever met a MANAGER who full out ARGUED with a customer?! Comparing
you to the other people in the restaurant who didn't find that menu
item unappealing or disgusting? That just because YOU didn't
like it, doesn't mean that "they cook just for you"...that'
it's a personal problem that you are unsatisfied?? Tried to take
my debit card out of my hand and I told him not to, that I'm, paying
with cash.....and ACCUSED ME OF BEING RACIST?!?! Accusing me of thinking
he was gonna steal (where did THAT even come from?! Who is he to assume
I was paying with my card when I had my wallet with cash wide open) ARE
YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Throwing out that I'm probably trying to compare
it to "American food"...AMERICAN FOOD!? Do I look stupid?
Like I haven't been to this restaurant numerous times before.
That everything else was good but that ONE thing.....TWO DOLLARS PEOPLE.
Apparently, I have to "have glass or hair or something wrong"
with the food to get good customer service....BUT TO GET A MANAGER ARGUING
WITH A CUSTOMER IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE?? Demeaning my character and
my background (he does NOT know what my heritage is composed of to be
calling me RACIST, or assume that it's even my character to call
someone racist! ABSOLUTELY obsurd!) To think I was blindly giving
them my business........
ABSOULUTELY NEVER AGAIN. It's not about the $2.00. I stood there,
mouth ajar, at the fact that a manager would do the exact opposite of
what a good manager would. Completely out of line, and cost him business
(which by the way, I told him would happen and he said he didn't care.
he must think one person can't affect his business.) Anyone running
a business with THAT frame of mind is a no-go. I will protest this restaurant
under the management of Cesar until my voice runs dry. NEVER had this
much anger with an experience at a restaurant EVER.
