Everything written by the other authers is good and expressive. Everything they say is true, but still they fail to capture the flavor of the atmosphere of the place. I wish I had the words to do so. Everyone that reads these has just got to go there and experience the place for themselves. Don't expect the Taj Mahal or the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. But do expect a quaint, folksy, downhome, comfortable dining place that you know you'll be glad you visited. less

I'm sorry, but when you when you're in a tourist town you serve tourists. With a thunderstorm blowing into town it isn't like they were going to get a lot of business that night anyway. We travel to Ft. Davis many times a year. We won't return to the Limpia. less

Waitstaff tolerated us well and we tipped appropriatly. I, personally, would not mind going back for a repeat meal. less

The order, once it was taken, was garbled and not presented correctly. The appetizer was good. The salad was nothing special. The entree I left unfinished. My wife delighted in her food, but was likewise disappointed in the service. less

Wonderful place to get good food fast. I love the fried shrimp dinner. No one else gives you this many shrimp for the price. The food is always piping hot and very tasty.

Shellfish pieces may be flying from all parts of your own table. But you won't care. The food is great. The service is good except during the time when the waitstaff is involved in the floorshows, but that isn't a major hurdle that can't be over come in my books. I left full and entertained. less
