The Afternoon, a sandwich that just might take you all afternoon to eat, is a massive mound of turkey, ham, black olives & melted provolone cheese is served on a eight-inch soft roll. Most sandwiches are in the $7 range. Side dishes like coleslaw and potato salad are made fresh. The staff is a seasoned and well-tuned machine so there is no waiting. less

The homemade pasta is the best. The Alfredo is the smoothest you will encounter and the pesto is oily, spicy and heavy, as it should be. The linguini in clam sauce ($12) is filling and savory. Spaghetti marinara goes for $7, with boulder-like meatballs running about a buck each. In all dishes, fresh herbs dominate the senses and create a melding of flavors that reveal the expertise in the kitchen. less
