Many relatives and friends insisted that I go here while on vacation
in the area so I did. The food was good but I wouldn't pay that high
of a price for it by itself. Obviously you are paying for the entertainment
that goes along with the meal and that was good too. I just found it a little
difficult at times to view the show when the waiter was walking in front
of me delivering food and refilling drinks. I also felt like I was missing
parts of the show because I was looking down at my plate trying to eat.
I understand the concept and think it is great I just wish that I could've
been able to eat my food first and then see the show. I also felt a little
rushed through the whole process. I did enjoy the experience but I doubt
I will ever go back. (Been there done that kind of thing) I don't
begrudge the entry price at all. It was the add-ons that bothered me.
I was not prepared to be hit up for pictures at $20 a whack and drinks in
the boot shaped plastic cup during the pre-show that aren't included
in the ticket price. After all that I didn't have any cash left so
I was left feeling like a deadbeat when the MC started reminding people
to tip the servers. I also didn't appreciate being routed through
the gift shop upon exiting the show. I felt like Dolly was trying to squeeze
one more penny out of me before I left. Take the kids they will love it.
Just make sure you bring plenty of cash with you to pay for the "extras"

Hubby and I were on vacation when we went here for dinner. We arrived
early in the evening so we only had to wait 30 minutes for a table. We used
the time to take pictures of the mill, the waterfall and the Little Pigeon
River. The place quickly got busy. If you are looking to have a quiet
intimate anniversary dinner then this probably isn't the place
to go on your special night because it did get a little noisy with people
being paged for their table every few minutes. The food was wonderful.
I could make a meal out of fritters and corn chowder, myself. I was impressed
with the country fried steak since it didn't have any gristle in
it. Reminded me of eating at grandma's. The next time I get through
this area I will most certainly eat there again.

The BEST Greek restaurant in Indy. Actually this is my favorite restaurant
period! The portions are HUGE. Plan on taking enough home for your lunch
the next day which makes the price a great value in the end. Make sure
to get a flaming cheese and a galaktibouriko (sp?) I remember waiting
in line for almost two hours at their previous, much smaller location.
I knew in no time they would be looking for a bigger place. The quality
of food and service didn't suffer one bit with the move, either.
Taki takes great pride is his food and Jeannette is the perfect hostess.
You will be planning your next visit before you are finished with dessert.
