Papa Johns Pizza is typical chain pizza, in other words, cardboard smeared with canned pizza sauce and minimal toppings. It is over-priced compared with other chain pizzerias.

The steaks are seared to perfection, the April Springs chicken is to die for. Appetizers are plentiful and delicious, especially the bacon/cheese fries, chicken wings and bloomin' onion. Service is invariably excellent. Sometimes it will get smokey from the smoking section. But the food is worth this annoyance. less

The food and services was much better under prior ownership. In the past few years, the place has slipped a bit, especially with reference to inconsistency of entree's taste. Best meals include Palace Beef, Curry Chicken, Mongolian Beef. The fried rice is average at best. less

It is a very beautiful restaurant. The food varies from good to excellent. I would especially recommend the cashew chicken, farmers' market chicken, both are excellent. Prices are higher than one would expect in this area. Service is typically excellent. Until the last year or so, they would tailor your entree as to vegetables you wanted added, without extra cost. Now, unfortunately, the management charges for this service. The fried rice is excellent. The hot and our soup, the best I've ever had. less

This place is ... more The Rib Shack offers tasty and meaty ribs slow cooked in a tasty bar-b-que sauce, tasty pork and beef bar-b-que sandwiches for about three bucks that will fill you up, delicious mac & cheese, large desserts, and only so-so chicken. This place is located in a high-crime district, and I guess I would restrict my visits to day light hours. Not sure what turned Tom and Erika off about this place. I've been going to the Rib Shack for over 25 years and never had undercooked ribs or other food, nor have I ever had a bad meal there. I think they are confusing the area with the meal, or just can't appreciate tasty ribs. less

Very distinctive coney sauce, with a tinge of sweetness to it. The coney's are delicious, especially smeared with mustard and loaded with coney sauce and oninions. The burgers are only average at best. Counter service and drive-in service.
