And then I once stayed at my Aunt Lucy's house for a day or two. That would be my third home. But this is tied for 3rd in my "home-division". There is a meal called the Drovers Platter, that is so good, I'd do almost anything for it. Be it murder, embezzlement, tomfoolery, or random mischief - I would do any of those things to sink my teeth into one of those dishes. It's really really good. The staff are nice people who seem happy to see "outsiders" coming into their restaurant, and the food is delicious. Plus, because it's a chain restaurant, you already know what you want to order before you show up! How freakin' cool is that? If you MUST go to Anniston, get your butt sitting in a chair at Applebees. It will do you good. less

It's really really good. I think that the chips (tortilla) are actually made one at a time by an orphaned boy in the back of the kitchen night after night. I sometimes wonder what his name is. The Broiler was good - at one time. Now it's just another trendy place for the elite celebrities of Alabama to join up and talk about pop culture. Did you know that the local meteorologist was there last week? Everyone was surprised. I've never seen that many cell phones taking pictures at one time. They have decent salad, and the water tastes fresh. I don't like tap water and I think this stuff was either highly filtered, or came from an exotic bottling company. I'll give you 2 thumbs up. less
