It took me weeks of careful deliberation to find the perfect restaurant
for my sister's surprise 30th birthday party. I chose Rialto for
their inventive menu selections, extensive wine list, modern decor,
and convenient garage parking. I booked a reservation for 20 guests
on a busy Saturday evening and was thoroughly impressed with our service.
We were seated immediately and our server, Michael R., was quick to
take our drink orders, offering his expert opinion on their vast selection
of wines and cocktails. I took one sip of my Italian Teardrop martini
and was ready to party. We opted for an assortment of first and second
courses to share, which included potato gnocchi, Fisherman's
soup, and huge plates of antipasti. As for the third courses, the smash
hit had to be the seared scallops with squash ravioli, chanterelles,
and smoked bacon. I contemplated licking my plate it was so damn good!
The whole experience was perfect and I highly recommend this restaurant
to anyone looking for a great dinner in Harvard Square.
