| Umberto's Ristorante & Il Piccolo Bar | Seattle, WA | |
|
I used to work at this restaurant - excellent Affumicato pizza,
the Radiatore Pepperoncini was to die for, Osso Buca tender and
succulent... unfortunately it closed about 8 years ago

| Dick's | Seattle, WA | |
|
the Deluxe is a work of art, however recently I've taken to
ordering several cheeseburgers instead. Fries are a must and
the milkshakes are tasty, too!

| Wibbley's Gourmet Hamburgers | Bellevue, WA | |
|
Wibbley's is, perhaps, the best burger joint in the greater
Seattle area. They have an extensive menu to choose from (including
non-burger items), their fries are wonderful (a little thicker,
but not quite steak fries) and, believe it or not, th ...

| Mr. Bill's | Seattle, WA | |
|
what can you say about a place that begins serving drinks at 7am??
The food is pretty run-of-the-mill standard fare - brunch is
the best bet here. Plus, you get the opportunity to rub shoulders
with the occasional Aurora street walker... bonus!

| Original Pancake House | Kirkland, WA | |
|
huh... there's one in Ballard but it's been in a perpetual
state of not-quite-open for months and months...

| Sunflour Bakery and Cafe | Seattle, WA | |
|
I used to live around the corner from Sunflour and would eat brunch
there every couple of weeks. The food is good, substantial, and
the service is always pleasant and unobtrusive. They serve coffee
in huge mugs, too!

| Goldies Shoreline Grille | Seattle, WA | |
|
Goldies is a bar/card room so don't expect too much... they
have bar specials that are a good deal, tho, so I drop by every now
and then. They used to have a Thursday special of $2 shots but now
it's gone... alas...

| Mama's Mexican Kitchen | Seattle, WA | |
|
Good, solid, tasty mexican fare. A good place to take a visitor
to Seattle so they can soak up some of the local ambiance. Waiting
for a table can sometimes be a pain.

| Rositas Mexican Restaurant | Seattle, WA | |
|
Personally, when I think of good mexican food, I think of Rosita's.
Margaritas are full and tasty, the plates full and flavorful,
and the ambiance is warm and inviting.

| Thai Pearl | Seattle, WA | |
|
Used to work around the corner from here - probably order delivery
once a week or so. The Cashew chicken is good, Massamun curry is
*very* tasty. Pad Thai is only ok, tho.
