This is our third visit to the Museum and restaurant. My and my sister
in-law's family vacationed at the Pioneer Village May 14 and 15.
The Friday night special was fried shrimp, which was the choice of each
member of our party. The shrimp was horribly over cooked, to the point
that it wasn't edible. The waitress apologized and offered to
bring us something else. We were so discouraged with our meal by the
time someone finally came around to ask, we were ready to just walk out.
The first shock came when we were presented with a bill reflecting full
price for meals which we didn't/couldn't eat. (Good thing
we didn't have the waitress bring us something else, we probably
would have had to pay for that too!) My second shock came when I paid the bill and was informed that the cook
knew the shrimp was over cooked but served it anyway. This one incident cancels any good comment I could make.
