The only good thing about this place was the sushi-it was excellent and was reasonably priced. The main course however, was not so great. We sat on the sushi bar side instead of the hibachi side because you normally get your food quicker that way and you don't have to deal with so many people. That was not the case here. Our service was less than ok and the food was dry and seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and they had tried to smother it in sauce to make it appear fresh. The vegetables were terrible and again, drenched in sauce and were extremely salty. As far as cleanliness goes, the place failed in that department as well. I have worked in a restaurant for 7 years and this was simply unacceptable. All of the tables around us were piled up with dishes and the floors were nasty. The same went for the actual sushi bar area. As far as price goes, it simply seemed over-priced for the quality to us. I might have understood if they were busy but they weren't! There wasn't any reason it should have been this bad. If, and I do mean if, we go back, it will only be for the sushi. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal at a good price. less
