Last week we had a guest who wanted to enjoy some a Japanese meal. We often
go to Tachibana for Shabu Shabu. It's usually a fun dish that westerners
can identify with even if they are squeamish about sushi but want to
do something more adventurous than the hibachi. We ordered the Shabu Shabu (should be paper thin pieces of high quality
beef). When it came it was tough and the cut was way too thick. We complained
to the waitress and she did not address the issue other than to say "we
serve good quality meat". Since we had a guest I didn't want
to make a big deal. So, I wrote a letter to the management. I was very disappointed
with the reply from management. Sad to say, I haven't found another
place to take guests for Shabu Shabu in Lexington. My recommendation
is go somewhere else that cares more about customer satisfaction.
